Dyrdahl Undefeated in USCC Sled Head 24/7 Pro 600 Class
Bryan Dyrdahl Wins Sled Head 24/7 Pro 600 Class

Minto, ND (Jan. 20, 2007) - Bagley, Minnesota racer Bryan Dyrdahl won the Sled Head 24/7 Pro 600 class at the United States Cross-Country Snowmobile Racing Association (USCC) Drummer's Diesel 100 in Minto, ND. Dyrdahl rode his Ski-Doo to a field-best time of 1 hour 16 minutes 39 seconds. Arctic Cat rider Brian Dick of Thief River Falls, MN finished second with a time of 1 hour 17 minutes 56 seconds. Third place went to Ski-Doo racer Jeff Gruhlke of Wyoming, MN with a time of 1 hour 18 minutes and 36 seconds.

Dyrdahl also won the Stud Boy Pro Open class. Gabe Bunke, a Polaris rider from Moorhead, MN finished second followed by Jeff Gruhlke. Winona, MN Ski-Doo rider Jim Sobeck won the Action Graphics Semi-Pro class. Arctic Cat racer Bryce Buchanan of Minnedosa, MB won the Woody's Semi-Pro Open Class. Jon Arneson of Maple Plain, MN won the Carver Performance Vet 30+ class aboard his Arctic Cat. John Bosek of Garfield, MN won the Scott USA Master 40+ class aboard his Polaris. Pat Mach, an Arctic Cat rider from Minto, ND won the Yamaha Sport 85 class. Fosston, MN Arctic Cat racer John Cymbaluk won the FXR Legends 50+ class. Michael Lenarz of Alexandria, MN won the Black Magic Powersports 440 class aboard his Arctic Cat. Winona, MN Ski-Doo racer Jenna Sobeck won the PowerMadd Women's class. Carson Kerr of Hawley, MN won the Arctic Cat Amateur 600 class aboard his Polaris while Tyndall, MB Ski-Doo racer Ted Horbaty won the Ski-Doo Amateur Open Class. Justin Morken of East Grand Forks, MN won the SnowWeek Junior 14-17 class aboard his Arctic Cat while Minto, ND Arctic Cat racer Adam Mach won the SnowTech Junior 10-13 class. In the 120's it was Moorhead, MN Arctic Cat racer Stuart Brandt winning the Sno-X 120cc stock class with Grant Hellgeland of Roseau, MN winning the Sno-X 120cc open class aboard his PolarisUSCC set another record for drivers registered for the event with racers from Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Manitoba and Saskatchewan making the trip to North Dakota.

The Drummer's Diesel Minto 100 was a fast 17 mile course with Pro lap times in the 20 minute range. The course layout included river running along with treelines and ditches that contained good snow cover.

Bryan Dyrdahl remains undefeated in the Sled Head 24/7 Pro 600 class. Dyrdahl set a very fast pace as he passed three riders on the first lap of the 17 mile course. Arctic Cat racer Brian Dick was also very fast. Dick made up for his DNF in the Stud Boy Pro Open class finishing second in the Sled Head 24/7 Pro 600 class.

Gabe Bunke, a Polaris rider from Moorhead, MN was a strong contender for the win in the Stud Boy Pro Open class. Bunke chased Dyrdahl's tailight the whole race finishing just 28 seconds off the pace.

Arctic Cat racer Brian Dick was fast in the Stud Boy Pro Open class but did not finish due to mechanical problems.

Greg Hyde of Rapid City, SD accepted an offer from Cory Davidson to pilot Davidson's Yamaha Apex race sled. Hyde jumped at the offer and proved that he can still put the hammer down finishing ninth in the Sled Head 24/7 Pro 600 class and fifth in the Stud Boy Pro Open class.

The 36-year-old Davidson is sidelined with a broken leg after crashing his dirtbike in December. Davidson did attend the race and assisted his daughter Riley as her crew chief for the Sno-X 120 stock and Sno-X 120 modified classes.

Arctic Cat racer Bryce Buchanan of Mennedosa, MB won the Action Graphics Semi-Pro 600 class with a 7 second margin over Ski-Doo racer Jason Bakke of Gonvick, MN. Jim Sobeck of Winnona, MN won the Woody's Semi-Pro Open class with a 1 second margin over Polaris rider Brandon Lizakowski of Minto, ND.
